The Elite SAQ camp will comprise of a small group of dedicated players looking to get to the next level of training. Various sport specific movements will be carefully detailed by EP trainers to fully examine the body mechanics and movements. Soccer balls will be used in the program to fully mimic game like situations.

Course Outline
EP trainers will have the luxury of tailoring the individuals tendencies to maximize their performance due to the staff and player ratio. This program is ideal for any athlete from ages 8-18 looking to full educate and maximize their core, speed, agility, balance and mechanics.
Equipment used: (depending on age) agility ladders, webs, hurdles, parachutes, bosu balls, exercise balls, balance boards, resistance bands, medicine balls and more!
SAQ (Specific Components)
Speed training will concentrate on proper mechanics and the quickness of movements over various lengths depending on the athlete’s sport. Finding the absolute speed will emphasize the efficiency in the athlete’s muscle fibers, which will undoubtedly make the athlete faster. Educate the athlete in proper mechanics needed to achieve their maximum performance. The program is designed to train the nervous system to consistently manipulate sport specific movements. This will allow the athlete to learn optimal movement patterns.
Nutrition
Our Excel Performance nutritionist has arranged a handout for all parents and players on eating properly for athletes. Information in the handout will include: What to eat prior to games, What ratio of carbohydrates/proteins do youth need, how to cook creatively with picky eaters, what are some healthy snacks, etc.
